I want to acknowledge business owners for taking on their mission while they roll up their sleeve on one arm, and answer calls with the other. To all business people, thank you for grinning and bearing it. To business owners who are still nurturing their dream–their baby, I understand. And after failing over and over in business, it feels a bit like runner’s high. You may not come out unfazed or unscathed, but you’re unstopped–which is kind of a miracle. So cheers to all of the business owners and business people across the USA!
Here’s what I’ve observed since the last time we connected:
The ‘human advantage,’ as I am calling it, is the cure to potential plagues of AI dominion over humans. I wasn’t too worried about potential plagues, but clients have been discussing the possibilities, and I support discussing possibilities. So here is the CURE that I have come up with. The Human Advantage Over AI – The human advantage is the inherent dominion over technology whereby we have created it.
(what AI cannot do on its own) = (the human advantage)
C – contribution – AI has been fed all of our contributions.
U – unique thought – We ask for AI’s thoughts/opinions and its response is a summarization of more human thought, theory, philosophy…. human contributions.
R – reasoning – I ask for it at the tail-end of each prompt to analyze it, and I continually find major gaps in the reasoning of AI. Its reasoning is mainly assumption, averaging, and Reddit threads.
E – enlightenment – The closest AI can come to enlightenment is its unannounced and frequent hallucinations.
Last Week’s Solution:
The AI conundrum is the hiring conundrum. Employees have 1:1’s and take feedback. Give AI bots only one plan/problem/project at a time in any one area. Then patch the holes in the process. Whether a system turns into a clean-running machine will be up to you. The employer (of the technical process or the employee) needs to get clear on the most fruitful tasks to assign at every level of difficulty and every level of trust.
I make business easier for my clients by sharing my knowledge, tools, and insights so that they can optimize their business for the most profitable reach. My purpose is to solve as many problems for my clients as I possibly can. I never let AI do my writing. I’m not saying it’s better or worse, wrong or right. It just helps me sleep better at night. The same is true at my marketing company, The Pink Tint Marketing.
